WASHINGTON D.C. – Iowa Congressman David Young released the following statement regarding his leadership on an amendment to the American Healthcare Act which reduces the cost of healthcare for Iowa patients with pre-existing conditions.

I believe our tax code is complicated and does not work. It’s time we scrap it, replace it, and simplify it to cut the burden on all Iowans. Washington has a responsibility to be more efficient, more effective, and more accountable in protecting hardworking Americans.
