- FY19 APPROPRIATIONS: The House Appropriations Committee, which decides how the federal government spends money, is continuing the FY19 appropriations process this week. As Iowa's only member on the Appropriations Committee, Congressman Young is scheduled to participate in the full committee markup of the FY19 Interior and Environment Appropriations Bill and the FY19 Transportation, Housing and Urban Development Appropriations Bill.
- PRESS THIS WEEK: On Wednesday, Congressman Young is scheduled to join KCSI live at 7:18 a.m., and KMA live at 7:35 a.m. Additional outlets may be added.
MONDAY, MAY 21ST
On Monday, the House will meet at 11:00 a.m. for morning hour and 1:00 p.m. for legislative business. Votes will be postponed until 5:30 p.m.
