Washington, D.C. - Iowa Congressman David Young issued the following statement today following his vote on the third supplemental aid package for those affected by natural disasters this fall.

Today, I voted to pass the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act to provide tax relief to the hardworking Iowa taxpayers throughout the Third District who sent me to Washington to work for them. As I have traveled throughout the District I have heard from too many folks who are living paycheck to paycheck struggling to get by.
Washington, D.C. - Iowa Congressman David Young today voted to pass the updated, final Tax Cuts and Jobs Act (H.R. 1) following his efforts to change the bill to include provisions important to all Iowans.
In the debate over U.S. immigration policies there have been discussions on ending the practice of family-sponsored migration – also commonly referred to as chain migration.
This method of immigration makes it much easier for relatives of lawful permanent residents to also acquire lawful permanent resident status in the United States.
